First thing we do is a hop on hop off bus tour to see the sights of the city. We also use The Tube, as the locals call their underground, is a quick way to get around town. Just 'Mind The Gap', the recording they play every time you get off the train.
The English Pubs serve some good, quick and cheap meals or at least cheap compared to London standards.
Of course we visited the landmarks Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, the Tower of London, and Westminster Abbey are must-sees.
We came across St. James Park's a great park for wandering. Carnaby Street is interesting with some good shopping to be had but even if you are not a shopper it is an interesting spot for people watching.
We are spending a few days with our friends Lis & Keith in Bedford, Bedfordshire England and their family Heidi and Amy.
We spent a couple of days with Anna & Mat in London they arrived a couple of days before we were flying out of Paris so we then changed our plans and returned to London. We hopped on the Eurostar in Paris arrived a couple of hours later and stayed with them in their new home as Mat was taking up a position for 1 year in the UK.
